A Bit of Inuit Art and Culture

Throat singers Nina Segalowitz & Lydia Etok made it through the border crossing for a return engagement at Sivertson’s Inuit Art Premiere.

They are talented, interesting, and funny as they sing, tell stories, and collapse into laughter at the end of every song.

It is nice to again see the local artists and others who have gathered here for this event, but without the featured artist (or the art-filled trailer he had with him), there isn’t as much reason to hang around the gallery as usual – and it is a really beautiful weekend – so we spend only a brief time here this year.
