It seems too soon to leave Cape Town, but the open road beckons.
Namaqualand to see if there are still a few wildflowers in bloom. I wanted to take the scenic back route up, but we agreed that it made the most sense to get up there quickly as possible to have time to look at the flowers while the light was good; thus, we take the main highway instead.
We hit road construction as soon as we reach the mountains.
Still, it is an interesting drive with a lot of variety.
