Jægersprise Slot

We stop at Jægersprise Slot in part because it looks charming, in part because it is reputed to have Zealand’s largest collection of rhododendrons, and mostly because one of my books made it sound like a good spot to stop for lunch.

Unfortunately, everything seems rather closed (although there appears to be an active school on the grounds) and the threatening skies make a trek through the rhododendron garden less than enticing.

It’s still a pretty place.
