Maybe the thing I like the most about Seattle is the way you seem to always have a view of either the mountains or the ocean (or both) in the distance.
From Phinney Ridge (the geological formation, not the neighborhood) in the Greenwood neighborhood, there are mountains to the west (the Olympics) and mountains to the east (the Cascades).
(By the way, these are both shots of the Cascades, since I never crossed the street to try to photograph the so-hazy-as-to-be-barely-visible Olympics. You’ll just have to take my word for it that I could see them too.)
Aside from a reduction in the number of view-obstructing power lines, what more could a lazy, view-seeking girl ask?
